Training as a strategic lever

December 2025

In 2025, Gi Di Meccanica reaffirmed its commitment to people’s growth by integrating mandatory training requirements with professional and cultural development projects. For us, training is an investment that strengthens skills, responsibility and the quality of daily work.

Technical and specialist courses for growth in the field
During the year, the company implemented several training programmes aimed at enhancing the technical skills of production departments and design functions. Among the main initiatives:

  • Turning department training
The first edition was completed at the beginning of the year, while the second is scheduled between November and December 2025, to consolidate knowledge and introduce new operating methods.
    Hydro Profile Academy
A course dedicated to the design of aluminium extrusion dies, with a focus on alloys, their benefits and application limits.
    Turning technical course
A practical deep dive aimed at improving process efficiency and the quality of machined parts.
    CATIA V5 Basic
Designed to provide autonomy in creating 3D parts and 2D drawings, enhancing the skills of operators and design technicians.
    CMM Machine training
Developed to strengthen autonomous and correct use of 3D measuring machines, both in software programming and operational execution.

Alongside technical training, Gi Di Meccanica has promoted courses dedicated to leadership, patent-related activities, and introductory approaches to artificial intelligence, supporting the company in tackling new technological challenges. Cybersecurity was another key area: employees took part in a targeted program to acquire essential skills for recognizing, preventing, and managing digital threats in an increasingly interconnected production environment

Workplace safety as a shared culture
Mandatory workplace safety training remains a top priority. In 2025, all employees participated in targeted courses, structured according to their role, tasks and risk level. New safety officers were also trained to support company’s growth and the operational complexity of the two plants and shift-based organisation.
Safety was not treated as a mere regulatory requirement: it became an essential part of the corporate culture, in line with the provisions of the new State-Regions Agreement.

Growing Together, Every Day
At Gi Di Meccanica, learning means growing together. Continuous skills development, combined with a concrete focus on safety and quality, drives a shared path that strengthens both the company and the people who are part of it.
