A discussion among companies, professionals and managers on how to turn risk management into a strategic driver for growth and competitiveness.
On October 1st, GIDI Meccanica was pleased to host the event “Business Risk: Strategy, Compliance and Risk Management”, organized by Salone d’Impresa in collaboration with Area Broker.
The event focused on an increasingly important issue for businesses: the ability to identify, assess and manage risks in a complex and constantly evolving economic environment.
The aim was to move beyond viewing risk solely in terms of regulatory obligations and explore its value as a tool for effective business management. A proactive approach to risk management can help strengthen decision-making processes, improve organizational efficiency and create the conditions for more solid and sustainable growth.
The event began with a tour of GIDI Meccanica, providing an opportunity to showcase how safety, innovation and organization are integrated into the company’s daily operations. The discussion then continued with contributions from Morgan Moras, Technical Director at Area Broker SpA, and Fabrizio Fujani, Business Stream Manager at TÜV Rheinland Italia, who explored the topics of risk culture, prevention and governance.
A particularly valuable part of the event was dedicated to business case studies and a CFO round table, featuring Carlo Dal Cin, CFO of GIDI Meccanica SpA, Davide Chinazzi, Sport BU General Manager at GIDI Meccanica SpA, and Giovanni Casucci, Partner, Intellectual Property at GA-Alliance, together with the experiences of Cristina Ceccato, CFO of GSP SpA, and Roberto Corazza, CFO of Ortoromi SpA.
The exchange between companies and professionals with different backgrounds and areas of expertise provided an opportunity to look at risk from different perspectives, highlighting the importance of developing a shared risk culture that involves different business functions and integrates compliance and risk management into the overall business strategy.
The event concluded with a networking aperitif, providing an informal opportunity for entrepreneurs, managers and professionals to continue the conversation and share experiences.
For GIDI Meccanica, the event was an important opportunity for dialogue and engagement with the local business community, reaffirming our belief that sharing experiences and expertise is one of the most effective ways to address today’s challenges and build businesses that are increasingly aware, resilient and capable of evolving.
